The Golf Club continued its run of successful auctions on Sunday May 1 according to Club President Dick Cleland. “Sales were good & income from commission & donated items was the best for some time. Mark “Mouldy” Millward had the unenviable task of taking over from Eddie “The Flying Dutchman” Van Keulen in running the food & drink stall but takings were comparable with other auctions” Dick said.
